Here at The Place we have commissioned Aletta Collins to create a show for us to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The piece is being devised in the week beginning the 19th April and presented for 3 nights from the 20th May 2010. She has a number of pieces she wants to include in the piece which looks back over the last 4 decades of Place dance. Some pieces are being used as projections into the space, and some are being reconstructed by live dancers.
One of the pieces she is interested in using is Combines. We are working with the support of the choreography Richard Alston, who directed me to Adventure Productions, regarding this early work.
We are not certain of the exact requirements of this piece in terms of how it will be used in the show, but Aletta can probably furnish you with more information as she makes decisions.
I am responsible for obtaining decent versions of these pieces and we will request any permissions required in order to use the video/choreography.
